That basically sums-up the situation right now.
All this screaming about Apple’s lack of openness and Draconian Control™ is starting to get on my nerves.
Apple is not obliged to build the things you want (get some Apple stickers if you just want the logo). But if you like the things Apple builds you can buy them, or not. When people call Apple’s ecosystem closed and encaging, I tell them, that so far I quite like the golden cage I’m in.
