I will not pretend to understand the horror that 9/11 was for the American people, but I get why this representative is totally loosing his shit, about how partisanship — once again — foiled an attempt to make the life of people who deserve it a bit better.

I hate when this happens in Germany, too, but this case is especially appalling.
