Follow Up of the Day: Tim Profitt, the Rand Paul supporter who stomped on the head of MoveOn.org activist Lauren Valle outside Monday’s debate, is demanding an apology from Ms. Valle.
He spoke with CBS affiliate WKYT-TV (video above) about the incident, saying Valle is “a professional at what she does,” and claiming that all the facts have yet to emerge.
Profitt was fired from his position as Paul’s Bourbon County campaign coordinator after being identified as the head stomper. He has been summoned to appear in court, where a judge will determine the validity of assault charges brought against him by Valle.
